Dr. Tarek Ramzi Elia Mazzawi is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Medicine at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan, with extensive expertise in gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy. A graduate of the University of Debrecen, Hungary, Dr. Mazzawi holds a Ph.D. in Medicine-Gastroenterology from the University of Bergen, Norway, where he also completed his residency, fellowship, and postdoctoral research. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, he has held key academic and administrative roles, including Head of the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mazzawi's research focuses on irritable bowel syndrome, gut microbiota, therapeutic endoscopy, and gastrointestinal diseases, contributing to over 30 peer-reviewed publications in renowned journals.
